Region And Data Compliance: FAQ

Can the Region be modified after creating the application?

No. Region determines the ownership of application data, keys, and Webhooks. If replacement is required, please contact Geelab to evaluate migration options.

Does Global mean the data is stored in all countries?

No. Do not infer the deployment location based on the name alone. Global's specific services and data processing scope are subject to your service agreement and Geelab's official instructions.

Can an application belong to both EU and NA?

No. An application can only select one Region. When you need to serve two regions, create separate applications.

Can different Regions use the same server key?

No. Server keys are managed by Region. Please use the corresponding key for each Region.

Can a Webhook be bound to applications in different Regions?

No. Please create separate Webhooks for each Region.

Can I view all events across Regions?

No. Events, visitors, and statistical data need to be viewed in the corresponding Region. The console will not provide a unified summary of all Regions under the organization. When you need to view other regions, please switch to the corresponding Region.

What should we do if the existing Region does not meet our compliance requirements?

Please contact your Geelab account manager or support team to submit your target region, data residency requirements, traffic size and required product capabilities. Geelab supports the evaluation and customization of new Regions based on customer business compliance needs.
