Select query range
Event Investigation: Select query range
Application and Region
Start by selecting the app you want to investigate. Application options usually include the application name and Region, for example:
Main Storefront · EU
Payments · NAEvents belong to a specific application and Region. After switching applications, the page will reload the events of the corresponding application.
If your organization has created applications in multiple Regions, please enter the corresponding applications to view events. Do not infer that events from different Regions can be merged directly based on similar application names.
Time range
Select a time range that contains the target event. It is recommended to narrow the scope as much as possible:
- Known request time: Choose a short range that covers that time.
- Only know the date of occurrence: first select the day and then gradually narrow it down.
- Investigate abnormal traffic: Select the complete time period from the beginning to the end of the abnormality.
- Entering from a risk signal or visitors page: Prioritize the time frame brought in by the page.
The event time is usually based on the time received by the Geelab server, which may be different from the local time recorded by the business system. When comparing business logs, please confirm the time zones on both sides.
Events are also subject to plan data retention. Historical events that exceed the query range may not be displayed in the list or details.
