Access Control

The VerifyS service allows users to configure IP and Country/Region allow lists (whitelists) and block lists (blacklists), enabling selective allow or block of verification requests based on the source IP or geographic location.

If the effective scope is User, it will take effect for all Services under your account; if it is Service, it will only take effect for the service you specify.

IP List​

Users can create IP-based allow lists and block lists to control access to the VerifyS service.

IP Whitelist​

The IP White List specifies a set of IP addresses or IP ranges that are permitted to access the VerifyS service. Requests from IP addresses in the whitelist will be directly allowed, regardless of other rules.

IP Blacklist​

The IP Black List specifies a set of IP addresses or IP ranges that are prohibited from accessing the VerifyS service. Requests from IP addresses in the blacklist will be directly blocked, regardless of other rules.

If an IP address is listed in both the whitelist and the blacklist, the whitelist will take precedence, and the request will be allowed.

Region List​

Users can also create Country/Region-based allow lists and block lists to control access to the VerifyS service.

Country/Region Whitelist​

The Country/Region White List specifies a set of countries or regions that are permitted to access the VerifyS service. Requests from countries/regions in the whitelist will be directly allowed, regardless of other rules.

Country/Region Blacklist​

The Country/Region Black List specifies a set of countries or regions that are prohibited from accessing the VerifyS service. Requests from countries/regions in the blacklist will be directly blocked, regardless of other rules.

If a country/region is listed in both the whitelist and the blacklist, the whitelist will take precedence, and the request will be allowed.

Configuration​

To configure the IP and Region blacklists and whitelists for your VerifyS service, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the VerifyS dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the "Security Settings" -> "Access Control" section.
  3. Click "IP List" or "Region List" for more corresponding configuration.
